Safety instructions
- For dogs up to 75 kg (Telescope 380 and 440: up to 70 kg). Only one dog on the ramp at a time.
- Not for people. Do not use as a ladder, bridge or loading ramp.
- Set up the ramp on firm, level ground. Check that the upper support sits securely before each use.
- Before use, check that the side rails are fully extended and locked.
- Mind your fingers when closing the ramp: risk of crushing.
- Keep your dog on a lead and never leave it unattended on the ramp.
- The walking surface can be slippery in ice, snow or mud.
- Depending on the length, the ramp weighs 12 to 26 kg. Protect your back when lifting.
- Do not let children play with the ramp.
- Secure it in the vehicle so it cannot slide.

On stairs your dog mainly needs grip and a surface where he does not have to start over at every step.
The path
Continuous instead of 18 cm per step. No setting down from edge to edge: he walks the stairs like a slope.
The grip
Every plate is bent into a step and covered with artificial turf. Non-slip, even with wet paws, even downhill.
The width
43.5 cm walking surface. He does not have to balance, not even when turning around at the top of the stairs.
The stability
At the top the support hooks over the top step, at the bottom the two rubber feet stand. The side rails are locked, nothing slides together.

In professional use
How the dog ramp lies on the stairs.
It rests on the step edges. At the top the support holds it, at the bottom the rubber feet. Once pulled out it stays in place, and the stairs stay passable for you.

Pull out
Pull it out to the length of your stairs. The side rails lock in place.

Place
Hook it over the top edge, the rubber feet stand at the foot of the stairs.

Leave it
43.5 cm wide. On a 90 cm wide staircase there is room to walk beside it.
On the dog ramp your dog bends his joints less than on steps.
On stairs your dog bends shoulder and elbow with every step, on the ramp he walks as on a slope. The steps in the artificial turf give him grip.

Longest length
The PAWVIA dog ramp: patented, made in Germany since 2013.
The idea was simple: a ramp long enough for a shallow path, small enough for the boot. It has been built since 2013. Steps bent, riveted, covered and packed in our workshop. Over 3,000 dogs now walk on it: with owners of large, older or impaired dogs, dog walkers, search-and-rescue dog teams, the fire brigade and vet practices.

Do I have to fix it at the top?
Oben hakt die Auflage über die oberste Stufe, unten stehen die Gummifüße. Die Holme sind verriegelt, deshalb schiebt sich nichts zusammen. [Zusätzliche Sicherung prüfen]
Does it slip on wood or tiles?
Unten stehen Gummifüße, oben liegt die Auflage auf der Stufenkante. Auf der Rampe selbst gibt der Kunstrasen mit Stufenprofil Halt. [Test auf glatten Böden prüfen]
Can I still use the stairs myself?
Yes. The ramp is 43.5 cm wide, on a 90 cm staircase there is room to walk beside it. Once pulled out it stays in place.
My stairs have a curve. Does that work?
The ramp is meant for straight stairs (33 cm per step plus 30 cm support). With a curve or a landing it does not fit cleanly. Send us a photo of your stairs, we will tell you what is possible.
Does it also work outside?
